Family dinners are great occasions to reconnect with family members and catch up on the latest family news. While the dress code for every family is different, you should still at a minimum meet the dress code for the location of the dinner. Furthermore, we recommend wearing a business casual outfit for any family dinner. It is always good to look nice and be properly dressed.

Since it is a family dinner you don't need to be overly formal, so an outfit on the more casual end of the business casual spectrum is recommended. This includes a pair of nice pants such as khakis or chinos, a dress shirt, leather shoes and a matching belt. If everyone else is planning to dress casually, you can even exchange the pants with a pair of nice-looking jeans for a more relaxed, but still professional look.
