A leisurely dinner is a great way to get to know friends better and have a relaxing time. Although in this fun environment its tempting to dress casually, typically dinners are more formal occasions. Not only will other dinner guests wear proper clothes, but many restaurants require it. To that end, business casual clothes are always a great choice to wear to dinner.

As the most formal meal of the day, dinners likewise require the most formal clothing. Extremely formal attire is not often required (unless at a very high-end restaurant or special occasion) and business casual attire is typically recommended. For a dinner we recommend darker wool pants, long-sleeved shirts, dark shoes and matching socks. Lighter colored and thinner materials can be worn also, but are more appropriate for less formal restaurants and outdoor dining.
